CENTRAL Luzon posted the fifth highest number of active coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in the country.
Based on the July 4, 2021 data of Department Health (DOH), Central Luzon reported 4,946 new Covid-19 cases in the last 14 days.
It came after Davao Region, which has 5,966; National Capital Region (NCR) with 7,598; Western Visayas with 7,904; and Calabarzon with the highest number of active cases of 8,299.
DOH data also showed that Central Luzon remains to have the third highest number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the country with 128,663.
It came after Calabarzon with 245,879, while NCR still has the highest confirmed cases with 530,303.
