Board Member Glenn Anthony Soco, who chairs the committee on infrastructures, told reporters on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, that experience will always be the best teacher.
He said engineers and architects should ensure the quality of the structures, noting that the resiliency lies with them, including the experts and planners.
Soco noted the Palace of Justice Building at the back of the Capitol, which could not yet be occupied.
“Even up to now, di gyud na siya magamit kay while it looks nga complete, pero dili na siya safe to be occupied,” he said, adding that they will have to make the structure disaster resilient, not just against earthquake, once Governor Gwendolyn Garcia has plans for it. (MKG)
