10 new Covid-19 cases reported over the weekend

CORONAVIRUS infections in Cagayan de Oro have reached 27,063 after the city logged 10 coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases over the weekend, all of which are local transmissions.

According to the City Health Office, of the six new cases, six were local index cases, one was a close contact of a previously confirmed case, and three were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors).

The active cases in Cagayan de Oro have gone down to 44, 29 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city and 15 were outpatients.

Cagayan de Oro also registered seven new coronavirus-positive persons who were tagged as “recovered,” bringing the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 26,064.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city is now at 955.
