Vaccinated individuals in Cagayan de Oro at more than 800,000

THE cumulative number of individuals who have received their doses of the Covid-19 vaccine in Cagayan de Oro as of December 2, 2021 was 835,494, according to the report of the City Health Office.

Of the 835,494 vaccinated Kagay-anons, 516,077 got their first dose of the vaccines, while 317,851 were fully vaccinated.

According to the said report, among the 835,494 vaccinees, 61,837 were frontline healthcare workers; 77,047 were senior citizens; 139,159 were persons with comorbidities; 353,810 were essential frontline workers; 42,234 were from the A5 priority group; 107,274 were from the ROAP group; and 54,133 were from pedia A3 and ROPP groups.

Meanwhile, there were no new mortalities of vaccinated persons in Cagayan de Oro.

The number of deaths involving vaccinated persons in Cagayan de Oro remained at 81.

Of the said figure, 41 were vaccinated with the Sinovac vaccine, 19 with AstraZeneca, 12 with Janssen, six with Sputnik V and three with Pfizer.

Cagayan de Oro now has a total of 850 Covid-19 deaths, in which the majority or 769 (90 percent) were unvaccinated.
