THE cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in Cagayan de Oro has reached 20,265 after 14 more residents tested positive for the virus.
According to the City Health Office, of the 14 new local cases, four were local index cases, five were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, three were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), and two Apors with link.
Cagayan de Oro now has 511 active cases, 85 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 423 were outpatients, and three returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs) or locally stranded individuals (LSIs.)
The city also registered 27 new recoveries. This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 18,915.
The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the city has now reached 839.
