THE average healthcare utilization rate (HCUR) in Cagayan de Oro has dropped to moderate risk as of October 3, 2021.

Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno, during the city’s daily presser, was pleased that the city’s HCUR is now at 49.54 percent, more than 25 percent lower than the HCUR recorded on September 30, which was at 64.26 percent.

“Ang laki ng tinik na nawala and mo-improve pa na,” Moreno said.

Isolation and bed occupancy has also dropped to 39.57 percent, as well as the use of mechanical ventilators to 44.68 percent.

The city’s average daily attack rate has already hit the threshold at 7.19 and the two-week growth rate has also dropped at negative 44 percent.

While the city mayor is grateful for the decline in the HCUR and the number of new cases, he still reminded the public not to be complacent and to keep adhering to the minimum public health standards.

Moreno also encouraged those who were not yet vaccinated to have their vaccine taken to have adequate protection against the Covid-19.
