Taytay, Rizal – A total of 166 senior citizens from Barangay San Isidro, Taytay, Rizal, benefited from the free medical and dental services provided by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on March 21, 2025, at the San Juan Gymnasium.
The outreach mission was led by PCSO Director Janet Mercado and Medical Services Department Satellite Division Chief Dr. Rouel Aparato.
The initiative was made possible through the cooperation of the Taytay San Isidro Senior Citizens Association Inc. (TSISCAI), headed by its President, Marivic De Guzman.
De Guzman expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the PCSO for bringing these much-needed healthcare services to the senior citizens of their barangay.
She emphasized how vital these programs are in ensuring the well-being of the elderly, who often have limited access to medical and dental care.
“Sobrang laking tulong po nitong hatid na serbisyo ng PCSO para sa mga senior citizens ng aming barangay lalo’t higit doon sa mga wala masyadong kakayahang magpakonsulta sa mga health facilities dahil medyo kapos din sa buhay. Maraming salamat po sa PCSO sa inyong malasakit at pagmamahal sa mga tao,” she said.
Among the services provided were free medical consultations, tooth extractions, and electrocardiogram (ECG) tests. In addition, PCSO distributed free medicines and vitamins.
The PCSO remains dedicated to its mission of delivering essential healthcare services to marginalized communities, particularly the elderly, through continuous medical outreach programs nationwide.
