City of Malolos — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) distributed 1,000 Charitimba (food buckets) to residents of Malolos, Bulacan on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center.
PCSO Board Member Jennifer Guevara and PCSO Bulacan Branch Assistant Manager Elmer Camba led the distribution efforts in partnership with Malolos City Councilor John Vincent Vitug III.
Councilor Vitug expressed his gratitude on behalf of the city government, stating, “Kaming mga bumubuo ng Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Malolos, sa pamumuno ni Mayor Atty. Christian Natividad at Vice Mayor Miguel Alberto Bautista, ay lubos na nagpapasasalamat sa PCSO sa naging handog na isang libong Charitimba sa aming mga residente. Gayundin sa ating mahal na Pangulong Bongbong Marcos Jr., dahil sa layunin niyang maihatid sa ating mga kababayan ang serbisyong may malasakit at pagmamahal sa bayan.”
Aside from the food buckets, the PCSO also provided educational grants to 20 college students in the city.
This initiative is part of the PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which aims to extend assistance to various sectors of society, promoting inclusive development and gender-responsive public service.
