Over 200 residents in Lemery, Batangas received free health services during a medical mission conducted by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
The patients, which included children, senior citizens, and individuals with various health conditions, were able to receive free medical consultations and dental check-up as well as electrocardiogram (ECG) for those who need it.
The PCSO also distributed free medicines and vitamins.
Mayor Ian Alilio thanked the PCSO saying, “Nagpapasalamat ako sa PCSO dahil inalagaan niyo ang mga kapwa ko Lemereños. Kumpletos-rekados, may libreng check-up na may libreng bunot pa ng ngipin at libreng gamot. Yan ang Kalingang PCSO!”
The initiative is aligned with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to prioritize the health of Filipinos.
