Iloilo City received 50 wheelchairs and 50 nebulizers from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in a turnover ceremony on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at the PCSO Main Office in Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades A. Robles led the activity with Cong. Julienne L. Baronda of the lone district of Iloilo City.
Representative Baronda expressed her gratitude for the assistance provided, stating: “The wheelchairs and nebulizers will be distributed to persons with disabilities, individuals with mobility impairments and those with respiratory health conditions. This initiative promotes inclusivity, ensures equal access to essential medical equipment, and enhances the quality of life for vulnerable sectors in our community.”
This activity is part of PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program and aligns with the President’s directive to prioritize the health and well-being of the Filipino people.
